Audio Device Driver

Specs: Windows 7
Just upgraded my HP Pavilion S7210 Slimline to windows7. Everything works ok except the Audio. the driver seems to be missing. I cant seem to find one on the internet. Can you help?

Evidently you didn't bother to find out if your hardware is compatible with Windows 7. HP has no Windows 7 support for that model.

Download SIW to determine what sound chip you have. Get SIW at the link below.

Try vista driver or if u have audio driver for xp do the following>go to device manager >right click the missing driver>context menu appear click update driver*don't connect to internet*>by click browse locate audio driver folder after click ok then next,it should find your driver.I use the same method to install onboard video driver plus chipset plus audio driver(both xp drivers) into win 7.

No Vista drivers available either. Not from HP anyway. That is why the OP needs to identify the sound chip using SIW.
