Specs: Windows 7
Hello,
I recently installed adobe after effects cs5 on my laptop and due to some problem restored it to a previous restore point. From then onwards my laptop doesnt work properly for the first few minutes after startup.
Issues noticed:1.Finger printer reader driver works only after few mintues after startup.
2.Unable to open any application, control panel,or anything for that sake except windows explorer.(only for the first few minutes, meaning 8 to 10 minutes)

its possible that you are getting lots of updates and downloads from cs5 and other adobe products,
check your process, see if anything is taking a lot cpu or memory, like indexing.
try to run a system restore from and older restore point.
if that fails you can run a repair from the windows dvd or a win 7 repair dvd.

if its a laptop, you can always run the factory restore, but save all your files first.

but cant help myself....

yeah that was quite helpful.
but i already removed adobe cs5.
And since i dont have an external drive i cant factory reset my laptop.
i recently found that at the very beginning of the startup the ram is around 700mb and after a minutes it suddenly increasez to around 1.2gb. and then all the drivers and all the programs work perfectly fine.
It would be very helpful if u could give another suggestion thanks in advance.

see if your machine manufacturer is in the list on this page http://www-tus.csx.cam.ac.uk/window...
then follow the instructions to do a factory reset, there will probably be a hidden partition on a laptop drive that contains this program. just follow the instructions for your manufacturer.

have you run malwarebytes, free download, check for all virus's etc
type msconfig in the start menu, open startup, and check for the startup process,if any of them look suspicious, or certain you dont need them, like all adobe startup programs, you can uncheck them, you can also copy a list of those and we can tell you what to uncheck
