Asus x52f Laptop jerks in sound

Specs: Windows 7
After I installed windows with format of system.

I cant hear the sound properly. it gives me jerks while playing music/skype/all.. sound stops for a while and then countinues.

I have checked all the drivers are updated.

Did you install the drivers from ASUS or did it load the generic drivers from Windows? You should always update with the latest drivers from the manufacturer.

i installed driver from the man website not from microsoft.

any clues what could be the reason of this problem

Did you delete all the partitions?
W7 - Click on > Drive options (advanced) Then highlight each partition & hit > Delete.

Why did you feel it was necessary to wipe the HDD & reinstall Windows? I assume by "man website" you mean ASUS? The drivers are pretty old - 2010? I'm sure there are newer ones available if you know where to look (Intel, Conexant, etc)

Did you at least start with the chipset driver?

Is this only occurring with online sites or also with music already on your PC or on CDs you play? If it's only online the pausing may be buffering due to a slow connection speed.
