APPCRASH Problem while browsing, help please?

Specs: Win 7, 4GB
Ever since I updated my windows (using windows update) I have been getting a error when trying to click on certain links. Here is the log

And what browser would you be using when this happens? Have you tried a different browser yet?

I am using IE8.

I have not tried another browser yet.

you may want to upgrade to IE9 and see if that makes a difference...

hmmm...try resetting IE and if that doesn't work, try an alternate browser to see if that makes a difference. You may also want to do a system restore back to BEFORE the problem.

If resetting IE does not work, remove IE in ControlPanel\Programs\Turn Windows Features On or Off\ and remove the checkmark next to Internet Explorer 9. Restart your computer. Go to the same place and put a checkmark next to IE 9. Restart your computer. This operation will re-instate all components for IE.
