Specs: Windows 7
I am using Firefox and AOL for my email.. I can log in OK and all my emails are there but when I click to open them the emails open but I just get a blank page. If I switch to the basic version it works OK. As far as I know haven't changed any settings

Have you tried using IE? I've always had much better luck with webmail in IE.

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers

I am using the latest version of firefox and went to aol.com and had not trouble logging in and viewing my mail. Did you try and clear all your cache's out and stuff? Try using IE and see what happens. I don't check my mail on the web as I much prefer to use AOL with a mail program on my desktop. Mary

No, I can't stand IE. It's a problem with my desktop PC. I have no problem opening anything when I use my laptop. I've only had my PC a couple of months and it worked fine at first. I have obviously altered the setting somehow, but don't know what I've done.

No, I just use the basic version for everything. It's slower, but at least it works.

'No, I can't stand IE'

LOL...AOL is my last choice too, but you DO know that you NEED IE in order to update all your criticals on your PC?

Firefox s fine with me as an alternate browser, but that's about it...too many nag screens and addon downloads with firefox.
You may want to try IE and experience the IMHO best ;-)

'I've only had my PC a couple of months and it worked fine at first.'

You obviously contacted Dell Support as your PC is still under warranty I presume.

I don't know if it's me or what but I tried firefox for a bit and it kept freezing the computer and I hated the nag screens. In all these years I never had those problems with IE. You can just have your AOL mail sent to a mail program. Works so much better than using online mail in my opinion. I don't use the AOL program anymore since I am on high speed but didn't want to give up my e-mail address I had all these years and since I don't pay for the AOL that is how I do it. Mary
