Microsoft Windows 7 home premium oem 32b...

Specs: Window 7
I have some old softwares that cannot support unicode input and the character become "?" upon data entry. The problem appears after O/S changed from XP to Win 7 and I know the reason is now Win 7 only supports unicode for some special characters. Please advise whether there is any risk to install a font type of XP to Win 7?

If they are True Type Fonts, they are universal and operating system independent.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
