An internal error occurred message loading W7

Microsoft Windows 7 home premium
January 11, 2010 at 17:50:18
Specs: Windows 7
Recently upgraded from Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Home Premium using MS' upgrade kit. Now, every time the hp notebook starts up, the following error msg is displayed: 'An internal error occurred. Please contact to our support team."

I have to click the 'ok' button in the error msg box to have this error msg disappear from the screen. From what I can tell so far, it doesn't appear to interfere with the operation of the computer otherwise? I just want to know what to do to remove this annoying error msg?

Any help greatly appreciated!

most error messages have either specific wording or a number/letter sequence, copy and paste into Google search engine and see what comes up, probably others have had similar. If you get results, post back error message plus some results for additional help. Others here will probably know more about it with more specific's.
Guesses: it could be a driver needs updating, a hardware or software compatibility issue ((AntiVirus software may need newer version))
Try: Do Windows update; update antivirus suite; HP's website for hardware driver updates
If everything fails: try a repair of windows 7 via upgtade disk

Did you get any solution to this? I'm having the same problem with my Toshiba laptop. I'm still running Vista (the devil I know thing) and don't recall changing/downloading anything before my notice starting showing upon start-up.
This is just annoying. I don't seem to be having any other issue either.
