Solved AMD driver settings auto-detect pop up stopped from opening

Specs: Windows 7
How can I get the AMD Welcome/auto detect window from opening when I start-up my laptop? I have my AMD video card driver settings setup but when I reboot the computer the AMD welcom and auto detect window pops up and the only way to get rid of it is to click the start button at which time the process of auto detecting the video setting starts.Very annoying. I do not want to disable the auto detection os settings in the AMD setup, but do not know how to have auto detection on while getting rid of the offending popup{auto detect video settings}.

The pop-up you don't want to appear will probably be an entry in your Startup list, these items automatically start with Windows.

You can edit your Startup list with Ccleaner: http://www.filehippo.com/download_c...

✔ Best Answer
Uninstall the AMD graphics drivers & Catalyst Control Center, then download & install the latest version available. Do NOT use the auto-detect tool. I'd point you to the exact driver you need but unfortunately you didn't bother to list any specs or info about your laptop.
