Alienware M15x: Windows doesnt start

February 17, 2011 at 14:33:29
Specs: Windows 7, 3072MB
I’ve got an Alienware M15x nebula red I think I put it on the sleep mode or I would have done an inappropriate shutdown as I was in a hurry and when I try to start again nothing came up and I pressed the switch on button for few times and only the boot up sequence comes up and it stops from there and windows doesn’t start up I will appreciate if anyone could give a solution for this please.

All I can see is when I press the power button, is only the alien boot logo F2 or F11 then the cursor blinks for a while and then the blank screen.

Tap the F8 key constantly at bootup. See if it goes into Safe mode. if it does, do a system restore.
