Specs: Windows 7
After signing to google, it just spins and does not connect. I have been trying to sign into google for about a month. I finally found my latest password and entered it. When I use the password Google accept the password, but sits there and spins. Why?

First thing to try:

http://tinyurl.com/m3mu3eg

Follow the steps as detailed in the above link. There are two parts to the first "to delete cookies" section; follow the first part and see if it resolves the situation.

If not then follow this link instructions:

http://tinyurl.com/ketyv69

which refers to clearing History (sometimes useful to do if the first link/routine doesn't work/resolve the problem). That's all to start with. Do NOT block "cookies" as they are more or less essential nowadays to access almost any website, and also most on-line email services.

Also which browser are you using; Internet Explorer, or Google Chrome, or Firefox?

And what are you trying to log into; a Google (gmail) account - or what?

Age is a state of mind. I am 71 years old and do support here regularly.

I am going to delete your other post. Stay with this one.

Does the computer work OK when performing other tasks not related to the internet?

Have you tried using Internet explorer?
