PhotoDeluxe is an old Win98 program & ended publication in 2002. It was never officially supported by Windows 7. As stated above by OtH, it supposedly will work in XP Mode but you'd be better off dumping it altogether & using the trial version of Adobe Photoshop Elements or some other alternative software such as GimpShop.

"Not enough memory" may be referring to virtual memory, not the amount of installed RAM.

Windows XP applications need sufficient virtual memory no matter how much RAM is installed, especially when opening & editing hi-res images.

you can increase the amount of virtual memory by following this guide:
https://www.microsoft.com/resources...

If the error is referring to installed RAM, and you were not getting that error before, one or more of your RAM modules may be faulty. Check in Control Panel > System too see how much usable RAM is reported.

You can test RAM modules with Memtest86:

System managed Virtual Memory is usually fine. If it is custom and has been reduced it can cause issues.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

I don't believe that version runs well in Windows 7. You may need to run it in a Windows compatibility mode. See the link below.

You also may need to clean up old files if you installed over the top multiple times. Try uninstalling it in Programs and Features in Control Panel.
