Adobe flash player gp.cab file corrupted

Specs: Windows 7
When installing adobe flash player the installation is stopped and a pop-up message tells me a gp.cab file is corrupt. What to do?

just had a look around, is the time and date on your machine correct.?
that was on an older thread

Princecorum, Do not respond as if you know what you are talking about because you obviously do not. I have checked the files myself. Occasionally a Virus will corrupt the file, so you need to remove the file itself, download it again from Adobe and place it back in the same file folder it was in. Time and Date should not be a problem if you are updating your system regularly.

sorry I'm not that technical... but where do you see the file. I am encoutering the same problem, but I can't seem to delete the file.
I tried searching for it in my pc but to no avail...
