Solved Adjust Screen Position of Laptop Monitor

April 1, 2014 at 03:37:02
Specs: Windows 7 x64, i7-3610QM , 8 GB RAM

I've noticed that I have a tiny black area in the top and in the left side of my screen. How do I move my screen a quarter of a millimetre up and to the left?

I've tried to change resolution, but the gap is still there.
Cannot seem to find anything in the Windows 7 Screen section in the control panel.
Right-clicking on the desktop and selecting "grafikegenskaber" (Graphics properties?) brings up the Intel graphics- and media- controlpanel. In here, screen properties are unavailable, and I can only pick fixed scaling.

oh the one computers and all electronics just hate.

You can't get rid of a mere 0.25mm black border on a laptop as laptops do not have built-in picture geometry controls, and I suspect the border is just a manufacturing tolerance which has altered over time through wear and tear.
