Specs: Windows 7 Starter, Atom/ 1GB
I hope you can help me. I have an Acer One 532h-2223 and I am unable to boot to Windows in any mode at all. When I type in wrong password for BIOS since it has the Insyde H20 BIOS EFI, it doesn't give me a number code of any sort like many websites say it gives. I can't boot to USB, CD or anything at all. I heard of some type of BIOS program that you can install in Windows so you can boot to USB and things like that without the help of a BIOS or not, but can't get into Windows either to do so. Can't restore it either because option may be disabled in BIOS. So I'm in a dead end right now and need help. So hope you can me out with some type of master password or something if there one exists. I ran hard drive test by taking it out and it passed completely, but still unable to boot to Recovery partition using Ctrl. + F10 key so I don't know what else to do. I tried booting to flash drive with the newer updated BIOS files on it so I can flash it, but it just doesn't boot to anything but the hard drive inside the PC. Please help me guys. Thank you.

If it's asking for a password to access BIOS Setup, we can't help you. Sorry.

If you didn't put in a password then only two issues remain. Someone else put one in or there is a factory default. The default would be in your owners manual.

I'll try looking into the owner's manual, but so far haven't found one. I'm actually a small business owner myself and a customer brought their PC in which pretty much needs to be restored. I was able to back up customer's files from taking hard drive out because whether you try to go to Safe Mode or Regular Mode, you see the Windows 7 Starter logo appear and after that it just boots to a black screen with a mouse cursor and I can move the mouse around, but nothing else loads. Can anyone help me with that maybe without restoring anything at all? Or I need to remove that password somehow. Hope you can help.

I suspect you will have to contact the manufacturer in this instance but you should be prepared to to provide some evidence of the owners purchase details and perhaps you will need to identify yourself as a repairer. Password problems are always hard to manage because of the proof of ownership details.

Best of luck

I wish there when I grow up there will be a place that has all sorts of information.Say for example, you need an manual for a HP computer

When I was younger we went to the library and found a phone book for HP in some city or maybe the city on the back of the product. Then we called them long distance to try to get them to send you a manual in the mail. The whole process would take a lot of time and usually you had to send them a self addressed stamped envelope and a money order.

If only there was like a modern solution. Something easy, like watching tv and getting the information over the air.

Maybe someday.

SHEEZE,. how hard is it to go to the acer site for a manual? What kind of business are you in anyway. Lawn maintenance?

I even voted myself down a point.
