The model number of your computer is not given - has it has an @ key?

Does this problem only occur with particular programs?

If it comes up with the wrong character then it might be due to USA -v- UK settings, either global, or for your keyboard or whatever program you are using.

If none of this helps then describe your problem in more detail.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Press "Shift" and the number 2. The @ appears above the 2 on the upper row of numbers.

Aha Ewen - now you've made me think.

I'm from the UK so I guess that is one of the differences with a US keyboard.

Mine has the @ key above the apostrophe (middle row to left of Enter key).

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
