accessing fonts folder windows 7

Specs: Windows 7
I have copied fonts from a computer running Xp into Fonts folder in Windows 7. There is a problem and windows keeps crashing when I run outlook, or try to open the fonts folder. Restoring previous version of fonts isnt an option, only copying, which crashes windows. I cant delete or rename so that i can past a previous version.

Have you tried System Restore to an earlier date before you changed
your fonts?
Start = In the Search type Restore. At the top you should see
System Restore. Click it.

Yep, tried that. Just managed to sort it through starting in safe mode and deleting the newly installed fonts. Not sure what the issue was, as I reinstalled them again, and now, all good.
