Access network drives from Arcview desktop software under W7

Specs: Windows 7
Successfully installed ArcView 3.3 under win7. APR runs; but, cannot add a theme from location on network drives. Two computers will recognize the network drives and 2 will not. All are the same model #'s. We need to see the network drives for the customized apr to work correctly.

Is ArcView 3.3 not obsolete??

In File Explorer, can you see the drives under "Network"?

Hi! Yes; ArcView 3.3 is obsolete. However, we are trying to make it work until we can completely implement a new system. On 2 computers I can see the network drives and everything is working. On the rest of them, I can't. The working computers are the exact same model number as 2 which don't pick up the network drives under ArcView 3.3.

I noticed that 1 of the network drives appeared available for a short time, yesterday. I don't know what triggered it. I read in one of the blogs that a guy had the same thing happen & thought it was related to having File explorer open. When I tried to get the other drives to show up; it went away. Yes; File explorer show all network drives.

Thanks for the response. Got any ideas?
