If it's a laptop screen, look very closely at it while it's running, shine a torch on it whilst looking very close at the screen.

If you see a faint image, the screen needs a new backlight fitting behind it.

If you never see anything at all on the screen it is about certain it is a hardware fault so there is no quick fix.

Please give the model number of your Acer. Assuming it is a laptop then another possibility is wear in the cable between the computer and screen where it hinges. Switch it on then gently lower the lid until it nearly closes. If at any time something appears on the screen then the cable is the most likely suspect. Another possibility is its connections at either end.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

If the PC is a desktop then likely it means the monitor is OK but not receiving a signal from the computer. So obviously check its connections. Sometimes if its data cable is stretched or twisted the small wires in the cable can break.

Otherwise did anything happen to the computer or did you make any changes to it between the last time it worked OK and the first time it didn't? Does it give any beeps when you turn it on?

In addition to all comments,

1) Make sure your monitor is good by connecting any external monitor. If it displayed may be the monitor is faulty one.
2) If not then graphic issue (whether you hear any beeps)
3) Remove your RAM and replace it again!
4) if nothing then switch off the laptop, remove the battery, press power button for 48 seconds replace the battery and switch on the laptop.
