pls. help how to put the password on my modem afaqshamel stcpee_2009, i cannot open the username and password, pls help me to solve these problem!!

If you reset your router you may have to check that your computer is on the same lan subnet. Some 192.168.1.x number needs to be on your computer's IP.

Then re-check that you may have to use the default password that is in the manual.

It could be that you cap lock is on. It could be that your keys are not working.

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?

The default password for modems before it's setup and altered is admin or administrator, I can't remember if it's abreviated or not.
Upon entering that you can then input the information as required by your isp and change the password to one of your choice if you wish.
I advise against it as most of us will forget it it and then not be a ble to get back in if ever required.
