Try google for ,,,,Acer Aspire one backup. You will get many hits.

Curious, did Acer sent you Windows 7 upgrade DVD?

Acer backup manager is a proprietary program for Acer computers. Due to copyright protection, no other sites are allowed to offer it. You haven't answered my question did Acer sent you Windows 7 upgrade DVD?. I think I can now assume that you have used non-Acer media to upgrade to Windows 7.

"The problem is my 1 click backup key does not work anymore..."

What key is this?

Do you have the driver installed for it?

At any rate, everything you need is available here, if you know what you are looking for.

If you don't have the correct driver installed for the backup "key," then yes, it will affect it. Download the driver & install it. If you are unable to find Windows 7 driver, install the driver for Vista via compatibility mode.
