Solved Win3.1 Driver for Sound blaster AWE64?

October 13, 2017 at 06:45:24
Specs: Windows 3.1
win3.1 works fine. Band in a Box v 6.0 opens up fine, but says sound card is not configured correctly, and for me to re-instal appropriate driver. I don't know what driver to use. Also, the PC does not have a floppy disc drive any more, I stupidly got rid of it ... so when I do get a suitable driver for the sound card, can I use the CD Rom drive ie would Win 3.1 recognise the CD rom? " I don't know what driver to use."

Should be one of the ones here (input your OS and choose "Driver" from "All downloads" at the bottom of the screen---then click "SUBMIT"):

Only you can make sure which driver you need given the choices under Windows 3.1.

If you already have the appropriate CD-Rom drivers loaded in DOS. Some older CD-Rom drives had problems recognizing "home-brewed" CD discs. Might be better if you expand on what it is exactly you're trying to do (other than run the aforementioned "Band in a Box")
