Dell XPiCD: Have Dell.com drivers but PCMCIA?

Dell / LATITUDE C640
March 29, 2011 at 10:08:00
Specs: Microsoft Windows for Workgroups 3.11, 150MHz/80MB/1.2GB
I went on Dell's website, entered my service tag, and found all the Windows 3.x drivers for my laptop. Here they are:

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&cs=2684&l=en&s=pub&catid=-1&dateid=-1&formatid=-1&hidlang=en&hidos=W95&impid=-1&os=W31&osl=EN&scanConsent=False&scanSupported=False&servicetag=83KJG&SystemID=LAT_PNT_PNT_XPi_CD&TabIndex=&typeid=-1

However, I don't see any drivers for the PCMCIA slots. Windows 3.x is not Plug and Play, so how do I configure it to recognize PCMCIA modem or ethernet? I see that the downloads for NT 4.0 include Softex drivers, but not for Windows 3.x.

not PnP???? I found most 1991 and up are usually PnP. if you have open PCI slots, it would be easier to use those instead of searching for hours looking for PCMCIA drivers. if not, then I don't know what to tell you.

Yes it seems after installing Win 3.1 and then AOL it can find the modem in the PCMCIA. Odd, I didn't think Windows 3.1 was PnP.. Thanks!
