Windows Server 2008 Access Denied error

Specs: Windows Server 2008
Hello Guys I'm new at the server 2008 system. I have 3 computer that I have connected with server 2008 now my problem is when Im trying to access server 2008 from Windows xp computer I can get in but when I'm trying to create new folder from XP computer its not letting me do that .. showing me Access Denied .. :( do I have to change and firewall settings ? or any security settings to access from other computer ?

assuming you are not doing active directory you can't make a folder until you have a user account on the server with the permissions to do so as well as access to a share that also allows you to create folders

You can but that doesn't change anything related to what you are doing
