Specs: Microsoft Server 2008 MDSN, 1.6 GHz / 1024 MB
I have a Windows 2008 Server with MDSN serial. I have installed it on a SATA drive with all the programs and so on, after awhile the SATA drive seemed too noisy. Since this is a Server I would like to have running in my bedroom 24/7, I needed a quiet HDD. I bought an IDE and cloned the partitions. Upon booting it gives an error and asks to reboot with the DVD in and choose repair. When I do that, it shows 3 options, none of which helps. There's a command prompt. What is the problem ?

What commands should I use in the command prompt to fix the boot issue ?

Most windows problems solve with a restart.

Most computer restarts are due to fawlty RAM, Windows, or Power supply (where it cannot support all devices)
