Specs: Windows 2008
Hi All,

I am trying to reimage an windows server 2008. I got the DELL server and i have the 2008 OS DVD. When i am putting the DVD to reimage it getting this error "no bootable 9x or nt installations detected on this machine"....

I have also updated the BIOS version as per the requirement.

Any idea...

but i have recenlty got the HW replaced...but getting the same error in the new set of boxes as well...

Obvious questions:
Does the BIOS see the DVD-ROM?
Is the server configured to boot from the DVD-ROM?

You can not use a image that no longer matches the hardware it was taken from.

You need to install from scratch and then make a new image.
