Missing drive during install

October 5, 2012 at 19:41:31
Specs: Windows 2008 , Core2Duo 2.4/8Gb
I'm installing Win 2008. I have 6 drives in my system; 1 IDE and 5 SATA. I'm trying to install Windows 2008 on the IDE drive as I'm going to use the SATAs for other purposes. The problems is that only the SATA drives show up in the drive install list. All of the drives are present during POST and in BIOS when I check. So, I'm not sure why it's not showing up as a drive I can install to.

How are the jumpers set on the drives?

The jumper is setup for CS and it's the only drive on the ribbon so it shows up as master.

The BIOS sees it as a master but the install CD doesn't. Set it as a master on the drive itself.
