Solved Exchange 2010 Certificate Creation

Specs: Windows 64

I am in the process of migrating from exchange 2003 to 2010 , both are running in coexsistence.
After the new exchange installation on 2008 R2 was done i noticed on EMC by default a cert was created.When then moved my mailbox over from 2003 to 2010 (local move) my active sync stopped working.

I created a new certreq with the following error.

There is a problem with the proxy server's security certificate, %s. The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site

You can't just create a certificate. It needs to be signed by a certification authority that all of your devices trust. You have two options. Export the signed certificate from the old server, import it to the new server, and apply it to the IIS website that hosts your Exchange web application; or you could purchase a new certificate from GoDaddy, Verisign, or any other CA. I would recommend the latter since you should use a UCC certificate or wildcard certificate with Exchange 2010 to allow for your internal server name, your external name, and
