Excel file don't copying

Specs: Windows Server 2003
Hi All,
I have a problem in excel 2007 file on window server 2008 machine.. problem is that, when i try to copy this file on another location so file don't do it and show the error message is "invalid ms-dos function" and also don't open the file in excel.... so kindly give me the best solution.

Found this on the net. not sure how well it works but it seems to be a soluition many people are suggesting


IRight click any where in your drive or dirctory then from the popup
select
new-> ziped folder
then a new zipped folder is created
Drag and drop the the contents of CD up on the newly created icon after a short time whole the dragged contents are ziped to your disk then upzip it. Then you will get all contents without any errors

shinestar789 you don't tell us what OS is on the workstation or if its joined to the domain or if you have this issue with any other server based files.

Can you copy the file to your desktop?

Dear All,

Operating system window server 2008 sp1 with domain server... I am try to open the file from domain client system and get the these error... and also file don't copy to any other folder.
