Thank you for your help. It has been since Windows 2000 that I have setup a new server. My server expert is no longer available, so I am all we have. I am setting the new server up at my home office before delivering to our permanant office. I am using a spare laptop as a ws and had disabled the firewall from CA but not the Windows firewall. After disabling the Windows firewall, I was able to login as several users and browse the domain. I found the server and was able to browse folders there. I am running a logon script bat file mapping two drives for apps and users folders, and have a home folder setup too. Only under one user do I see the home folder, and two mapped drives. The other users only show the home folder. Any ideas on that one? My company is only 10 users and one main application is used. I have a router (was doing DHCP), server (now doing DHCP, DNS, AD, and application and user data storage. Do you have a best setup document to assist me? I really appreciate your help.
