Specs: Window XP
Hi all,

i have one problem a with DHCP Client.
I have two Virtual Machine. One run as Server (Window Server 2008).
Another run as Client (Window XP). As i configure DHCP Client for Window XP Machine.
it works properly. But, Every time i restart my Window XP Machine (Client PC), I must restart DHCP Service in Services.msc to make DHCP Client works properly.

Even though, i have already configure DHCP Client Service in Services.msc to automatically run, I still need to restart service again.

pls help me to solve this problem
Thank in advance.

It is set to be automatic already. Did you make any other changes like to the logon account?

If you view the event viewer logs what errors do you see related to the dhcp service?
