Specs: Windows server 2008, 8 GB
I have domain on windows 2008 server also I have file server I need to know how to sync files and folders from the clients to the server and also how to automate this process ? I need to make this server as backup server.

Thanks for your reply. but the reference that you gave me is not helpful. this reference is talking about the backup utility in windows 2008 server locally so what I need to know is how to backup clients files and folders from the server by using synchronizing Technology .

thanks for your help, this software is client based but its not server based I need to sync files and folders from the clients to the server and to automate this process. so if there any way that I can get with out software it will be good if not let me know good freeware soft

I don't think it matters where it runs. Both servers & clients have scheduled tasks.
