With 3 subnets do I really need to configure 3 sites?

Specs: N/A
Hey all, we recently went to a VOIP phone system and my network went from one subnet (192.168.2.0/24) to three (added 192.168.1.0/24 and 192.168.3.0/24). Now I've been told that I need to create sites in AD Sites and Services. My network isn't very big, about 100 laptops/computers/servers so I'm not sure I need to do this. Googling this gave me nothing on how to determine whether or not I need to go this way. I welcome any ideas, suggestions and recommendations.

Thanks,

Joe B

You were misinformed.

You don't create sites. You create subnets so AD knows about them.

I don't see why AD would need to know about the VoIP subnet at all.

Answers are only as good as the information you provide.
