windows server 2003: delete data after 10days

Specs: Windows 7
well if you have a shared folder, everyone can add data on the folder but after 10 days the files have to be automatically removed, how do i do this?

you would write a simple script to delete them. then you would schedule the script to run via the scheduler.

so that would be DOS-scripting then? or ? (new to the whole server management).

If you are new to servers the last thing you should be considering is deleting data per schedule. I have years of experience and would only consider such under dire conditions. But I am trained never to lose data.

There is no dos but there is cmd scripts. I would suggest you post your requirements under Programming. Someone will help you there.
