I scrap metal and found an Optiplex 210L tower running Windows Server 2003. When it boots up you must press CTRL-ALT-DEL to get to the login screen. The login screen defaults to "Administrator" and I don't know the password. Is there an easy way to by-pass this? I don't care if the hard drive is wiped clean and restored to its factory setting. message edited by rkward63
We can't help you bypass security, particularly on a server, particularly on a system with an unknown history.
I understand that the hard drive may contain personal information since its origin is unknown. Is there a way to restore the system to its factory setting and wipe the hard drive clean of any personal data?
Servers do not have a recovery partition to return to factory settings.
