Specs: Windows 2003 server SP 1

I am not a server or microsoft person, but we have a telecom server in our Lab. it is a windows 2003 server with SP 1 and standalone mode.

the issue: when we login to server using RDP with Administrator account I get error " this account has been locked out" but when I go locally and login to server i have no issue.

interesting part, when i use another windows server as a jump server in the same subnet in our Lab I dont have any issue and able to login using RDP.

Can anyone please help?

if by remote you mean there is a router between you and the server the issue most likely is the router isn't configured to forward port 3389 to the server. No forward no connection.
