Try to RDP into the Server before it freezes. Check the event logs for any errors. Check the std monitor drivers and reinstall if needed. Does it freeze when you are doing anything specific?

we did try that one, but it will not allow us to connect to server, and even the remote desktop was disabled.
we can only access the shared files from the server.

did you try a different monitor?
did you try a different video card?

If you tried both a different monitor and video card, and never could see the bios post or anything else on the screen... I see no way to repair your server. Mainboard has to be part fried.

I would suggest its time you took the server to a shop or got someone in to troubleshoot it that is familiar with servers

i dont think the motherboard is the problem, or even the VGA card or monitor that we have in the office. When the machine boot up that's the time the monitor shuts off or we even try to run from safeboot but the machine restarts itself.

the worst thing is that, we can't re-install the server because we have lots of data and even dont have installer on some of the important programms installed on it.

can you go into the bios and will the monitor stay on for as long as you are in the bios?

Are you telling me you don't have backups of the server data or the program install disks?

A repair install is not the same as a new install. A repair install keeps your data/apps.

You must first determine if you have a hardware or software issue. I know you would like to believe its a software issue.

Lets see if you can stay active when in the bios. Also look at the server temps/fans in the bios and post the temps /rpms
