win server 2003 won't take administrator pass

Specs: Windows Server 2003 R2
Windows server 2003 R2 won't take the administrator password. I tried logging in multiple times and then it locked the system. I pressed Ctrl + Alt + Delete to reboot it; the server is turned on but the operating system won't come on. It is rebooting automatically -- it's like a loop -- it restarts, goies through all the checks up to " windows Server 2003 " screen and then an error blue screen shows up in flash and then it rebooting all over again.

I need help with this; Any one?

This is usually a hardware problem. Most probable causes are...

Bad Sectors on the Hard Drive - If so boot from Windows CD into recover console and run CHKDSK.

Over heating - If so check the cooling fans to make sure none have failed.

Damaged RAM - Boot to BIOS and run RAM test.

You can boot without auto restart so you have a chance to read the Blue Screen of Death and you should be able to Google the error message to get a better idea. Just do an F8 boot and select the appropriate option.

Either way I would get the service contractor on the phone. I hope you have a backup server in the mean time.
