Specs: Windows Server 2003 SBS R2
Dear All,

Actually my server computer was shut down on the previous day accidentally. The next day when i started the computer It displayed an error " Atleast one of the service or driver failed to start". I ignored the error and logged on the system. But from then onwards I am not facing the following problems:

1. The active program is not being shown in the task bar.
2. My network places is empty. i.e. it is not showing the LAN or other connectivities.

Can anyone help me on these issues please.

Thank you in advance.

Best Regards,

Sounds like your NIC drive may not have loaded. Go to your error logs and look for the error that was posted at startup and paste it in the forum. Also try pinging one of your computers.

I never use Network Neighborhood as a reliable way to see what computers are on your network. Ping is much better because it uses IP.
