“Task manager disabled by administrator”

Specs: Windows XP
Whenever I try to open the task manager I am getting the following error message…

“Task manager disabled by administrator”

Why this is happening can somebody tell me please?

are you logged on as admin, do you have the permissions to access this?

It occurs because some other user with administrator permissions could have stopped its use. Also, if a virus enters the system.....

Hi Daniel & Mike

I was able to track this problem. Actually this problem was occurring in my PC coz one of my friend had stopped its use. I got a site in google "completepcpedia" where I found a very easy solution of this problem....
