Hi Comm,

Recently I have noted a problem with my server running Windows 2003 Standard SP2 with ACT 2008.

Suddenly the server shows a message saying the computer is going to be restarted due to an error in lsass.exe

I was scared about famous virus sasser but my server seems to be clean and updated so I was taking a look around the event viewer, I located the event describing the lsass.exe error and I noted that always before the error some events appears related with ACT´s SQL Server service.

I have stopped the SQL Server (ACT7) and ACT! Scheduler services and I have changed the startup type to manual and after rebooting my server the lsass.exe error has not happened anymore.

Does anyone know what might be happening?

Thanks in advance for your help.
