Setting up in DMZ

Microsoft Windows server 2003 enterprise

Specs: Windows Server 2003
We have a third party hosted application where we want to use AD Authentication. I'd like to set up a Windows Server 2003 box to reside in a DMZ and have "read only" access pointing back to our Domain Controller. Can Windows Server 2003 be set up as "read only" in a DMZ for this purpose?

If I understand you correctly, then all you need is an account with "read-only access" in AD. Create a new account and set the ntfs permissions for it to read only at root drives and it should inherit down to include everything. If you set the server in DMZ or not should not matter.
