Specs: Windows Vista
I installed the Services for UNIX and added an NFS share, but cannot attach that share to a Linux machine. I don't see any messages in the Event Viewer. Need some help... I'm not a Windows guy.

Windows will not work with NFS directly. You need to enable the SAMBA (SMB) services then the Windows Boxes will see the server. To access it in Windows do UNC pathing like "\\\share\".

Also don't forget WIndows uses Backslashes "\" not slashes "/".

NFS works absolutely fine when presented to Linux systems. NFS isnt proprietary to windows. Its a standard network file system technology that has its roots in UNIX.

You need to install the NFS component and modify the permmisions on the share so that the everyone and anonymous user have full control. When presenting the share remember to use the forward slash and indicate the folder path.
