separate user account & email

Specs: Windows 7
I'm using win server/exchange 2003 and AD.I have the users accounts on it but for one account(1) the email(2) is on another exchange server.The problem is that this email account can't receive emails from local users (on the domain) only outside.I tried to disable the email(1) on this account(1) but it doesn't work...

Does the sendee get an NDR? Try removing the exchange attributes and reattaching the mailbox. Let the recipient update policy run as normal and after a few minutes the email fields should be populated. Then try sending email to the account again.
