hi, we use RDP to log on to our servers to run an application,
Was just curious to know when different users log on to our server, they have different memory usage for the same application.so i got user 1 using memory usage as 50,000k user 2 using 145,000k and user 3 using 200,000k. they are all using the same application and doing the same job. can anyone tell me why this happens?

The memory usage of a process in Windows is highly dynamic and depends on many factors. This includes how much memory is in the system , what the process is doing now and what it was doing recently, and what other processes are doing. I expect that the processes are not doing exactly the same thing. One explanation is that one is currently inactive or minimized. Small things that are not apparent to you can make a big difference.

I would suggest that perhaps the program has different modules that are loaded by the users and that the higher usages were doing more than the lesser usage person.
