Does anyone know which registry key I can use to determine if a machine is a member server vs a Domain Controller?

Thanks

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NTDS\Parameters\DSA Database File

If it's there, the system is a DC

You can better check the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\ProductOptions

If this is LanmanNT then it is a DC
If this is ServerNT it's a member server
