Page_Fault_in_NonPaged_Area virtual box Win 2

Specs: Windows 7
My laptop crashed while a VirtualBox virtual machine with a guest OS Win2003 Server was powered on.
Now my virtual machine does not boot any more: Windows tries to start but always ends up in a blue screen with the error message:
The host OS is Windows 7 64 bit, the Guest OS is Win2003 Server. Virtual Box version is 3.2.12.

Pressing F8 during boot and then selecting "Safe Mode" did not help, I keep getting the same error message.

Did you make any changes to your virtual machine config like reduce the amount of RAM or Disk Space?

No, I did not change anything in the VM's configuration. My laptop crashed while the VM was powered on. That seems to have corrupted the virtual disk.
I am wondering if there is anything I can do to repair and get my virtual machine up and running again because it would be a lot of work to set it up all again.

Oh, yuck. You could try to do a CHKDSK but if the file is corrupted then you may have to rebuild it. Boot off of your Windows CD and go to the recover console then run

chkdsk /f

Hope it works. You may be able to do a repair install if there is still problems. Other wise, I would boot off of a Linux disk and backup your files. I hope your virtual machine supports USB.
