no connectivity after 2 reboots

Specs: SBS2003, 2.67 Xenon / 4gb
I'm not sure what's happening. there are no errors on the server. the server can't see the network and the network can't see it. i will have reboot the server a total of 3 times. third time everything goes fine. full connectivity. I'm just not sure what's going on with it. only changes are windows critical and security updates. any thoughts.

thought i'd give a little more info..
the server is running fine. 2 weekends ago i installed symantec endpoint protection and after reboot it had no connection to the network. it couldn't see any network comptuer and they couldn't see it. after 2 more reboots, it seemed to clear up. Yesterday i had approved some wsus updates and the server rebooted last night. this morning users couldn't connect to shared folders, 2 more reboots and it finally cleared up and all was well. the server never used to do that, you'd reboot, it would come up and work. don't know what's happening lately to cause this problem.

Sounds like the nic card isn't initializing correctly.\
Next time it happens do some simple ping tests from the server.

Hyper-V host loses network connection when firewall is enabled
Fix ID: 2426193
Symptom: On a computer running as a Hyper-V host with a virtual network linked to a physical network card, when the firewall is enabled all network traffic on the host is stopped. Disabling the firewall and resetting the network connection returns the network to normal operation. Only the host is affected; virtual machine network access is not affected.
Solution: The Teefer.sys driver was modified to correct a compatibility issue between Teefer.sys and the Microsoft Bridge.sys driver.

symantec 11.0.7 . we bought the license for this version years ago. installed the manager on server 3 and clients on all of our computers. well, server 3's hard drive crashed, for some reason no one saved the install download or put the key's into any book. when i got this job, server 3 was down and had been down for quite a while. now, all of our client computers got no updates and live update was disabled. after getting server 3 back up we still had no antivirus. after a few months of looking on old drives i stumbled across a text document labled Symantec, well guess what, it was our key.
i was able to go to the symantec website and redownload our software and get it all set back up. we have a 60 license and are currently using 55 of them. this version doesn't work with our version of Quickbooks 6 so on 2 of our servers i have had to disable the auto protect feature. but on all the other servers they are working just fine.
it's just server 1 that i'm having a problem with. i have rebooted it on 2 different days and each time it takes 3 reboots before it will see the network. I'll be trying a ping test the next time i have to reboot.
