Members of Distribution Group Not Visible

Microsoft Windows small business server...

Specs: Any Win, XEON/1GB
I'm inherited supporting an Exchange 2003 server running on Windows 2003 server. (It's not SBS.)
What I can't figure out is when I'm looking at a Distribution Group in Active Directory Users and Computers, I don't see any members listed. But multiple people get sent an email to the address assigned to the Distribution Group, I just can't see any of the members that are assigned to the group.

I've looked around and seen methods on hiding members of a distribution group from end users then they use Outlook, but I haven't found anything yet on how or why members are hidden when looking at the properties of the group using Active Directory Users and Computers.

A general direction at least would help. Thanks.

Use ADSI edit to check the group membership. There should be an object class called "member" listed under the DL in ADSI.

Thanks, scur, I tried ADSI edit but still didn't see members. But I did find that the users were actually specially annotated in the Active Directory list, and when I look at that specific user I can see if they're a member of that group or not, so it's not an issue as before. Thanks again.
