Low disk Space

Microsoft Exchange 2003 (license only)

Specs: Windows server 2003 R2
Every morning i need to restart my exchange server 2003 which is also my primary domain controller due to "low disk space".
Before i restart, System(C:) drive shows space in few MB and after the reboot it shows the normal empty space i:e in GB.
There are no error logs regarding this generated on server.
Pls help me..

Install "Treesize Free" and check whats using up all the disc space. Are you using SBS?

If the system partition is real out of space, the following steps can solve this issue.
1. Clean up the hard disk drive.
You can run the Disk Cleanup function by clicking on the Low Disk Space popup. This tool will scan your drives and look for files that you can safely erase. Usually this will be little help.
2. Remove programs. You can consider removing programs that you don't use and moving large media files (videos, music, graphics) to other partition. But you will spend a lot of time to do this.
3. Extend partition. You may use partition manager software to resize partition and it is the easy and efficient way. You can extend your partition as you wish and do not need to worry about data loss.

Sounds like a Page File problem. How much RAM do you have on the server. Exchange is a Memory hog and when you run out of ram it will rum to the swapfiles and start using drive space. Rebooting will of course fix this because it deletes the memory not needed.
