i've domain net, dc is win2003
i've common pc for Public usage , the problem is after the user did his works , he locked out the pc instead of log off the pc and all the users are domain users , so they can’t use the pc until restart the pc.
I want to stop that and let the pc log off auto "for example after time" in case the user locked out the pc .
And I don’t care for unsaved data because in both way they restart the pc for login inI appreciate your help .
Thanks in advance
Hi rast_inf, There is a command-line utility (and also a GUI) that can help with this. I would imagine you could even automate the shutdown process with a script, if you were adept at script writing. Have you tried the command "shutdown"? Try "shutdown -i" for the GUI, or "shutdown ?" for all switches.
use shutdown switch
example:shutdown /i,/m or u can use task scheduler
